This large yellow fig was
discovered at the San Diego Botanic
Gardens. It’s a vigorous grower and
prolific fruiter that makes an ideal
plant for the home garden, and it can
be grown in the ground or in a large
container. The sweet fruit is bright
yellow with a thin, tender skin. It’s
delicious when eaten fresh off the
tree but can also be made into jam
or dried. Grow in full sun for optimum
fruiting. Hardy in zones 7-9.
